- Can't they tell by DNA what the child really is? Usually when this happens they go with whatever their genetics of the child is....that way, when they go through puberty and their hormones take over, they will do so naturally.

- Thank you Candlwycke. It goes to show you how people try to use the Bible as an excuse for their prejudices. They choose a verse here and there as "proof" without really understanding the book or the culture and time behind it. I bet many of these people know NOTHING of religion or history.

- These people are dying anyway...some in a matter of days or weeks. They want to go before the pain is too much for them to bear. Again...they're dying ANYWAY. It's not murder, these people don't want to die, but they are anyway.

- My kids eat when they are hungry. I never force them to eat. My oldest used to be a picky eater and my mother in law would always complain that he wasn't eating enough. He would only eat certain foods like cheese and cantaloupe. Now he's an 8 year old w/ an appetite of a teenager.
When did you feel the bond begin with your baby?
After she was born. Holding that little person in my arms was like magic.
Does whining send your blood pressure soaring?
Sometimes. When I'm tired and stressed it really sets me off, but when I've got my defenses up I can usually nip it in the bud.
Are moms who leave their families judged more harshly than dads who do the same?
Yes. There is a definite double standard when it comes to parents who abandon their families.
